Give Back

A core part of SAA is giving back to the College community through service. As SAA founder Tony Meyer ’49 once declared, "Service is our watchword. SAA members give readily of their precious time to serve as ambassadors for the College of Charleston at a variety of functions. They do so with grace, charm, and wit that endear them to the people they meet."

While volunteering for campus activities such as New Student Convocation and Commencement are vital to the SAA mission, SAA focuses on donating annually to their endowed scholarship, and volunteering to better the College, its students, and community. An important goal of SAA is for members to have fun, make new friends, and preserve and promote the College we all love while students.
